What does it mean choosing to love?

Does it mean having rules of behavior, i.e. be kind, be compassionate, etc.?

No.

If we choose to love, it means letting go of anything to the contrary.

If we choose to love, it means deciding to love, keep the focus on being loving both towards ourselves and others, and commit to let go of what love is not, which we hold mainly in our subconscious. It means letting go of anything to the contrary to Love in the form of thoughts, beliefs, feelings, behaviours, and it all comes down to the ego. And the more we let go of the ego, the more loving we become, until we realize that Love is our very nature.

We might have heard a lot about rules in our religious upbringing, or in our societal conditioning - you have to do this or that, you have to behave in this or that way, etc. But Love is about freedom, there are no rules to Love. Love is about being who we really are. Love is about attitude. Rules create limitations in our subconscious mind and more negativity. But as the ego has a strong grip, we need to be totally committed to letting it go in order to be able to Love, it is a 24/7 job.

Will you choose to Love?
