Italian judgment can be sometimes fierce. In those cases, one does not only gets the look, but there is no more hallo. It would be like there is one way to behave and it is theirs. Unfortunately blame, shame, guilt, judgment are still at home in Italy. Not to mention abuse, which in my opinion is a shadow. If one goes into a bookstore, there are no books on emotional or mental abuse, and this is not because it does not happen, but because they do not recognize it.
I will cover many of these aspects in the “HAWTOA” workshops. You can find more information on the coaching website.

We know that a component of the shadow is what we deny, judge and project onto others.
And I believe this is made even more difficult to heal when the cultural beliefs justify those behaviors.
Cultural beliefs, if a person is not aware of them, can cause automatic behavior. And if the person wants outside approval, she will conform to those beliefs, even if she knows they are not right. And the ego might get in the way causing the person to want to be right, when for example talking to people from other countries who might hold very different beliefs.
An example of a shadow of a country could be a culture that does not recognize or justifies abuse or bullying, or is obsessed with sex, or does not want to see lack of respect, discrimination or racism, a culture that justifies angry behaviors, or a culture that justifies violation of others’ boundaries or privacy, or lack of honesty, or lying, or justifies repression of emotions, or blame, etc.
We cannot change our culture, but we can change ourselves. And social scientists say that it is enough 11% of people to bring about a shift.
What is the shadow of your country? By becoming aware and healing yourself, you contribute to the healing of your country.

And following from the previous post, there is also a lot of societal pressure to conform for immigrants, further than predjudices.
Now, in my experience helping many expatriates of many different nationalities, all this pressure is having on them many negative effects as I described in my previous post - anxiety, depression, loss of self-esteem, loss of self-confidence.
And furthermore cross-cultural integration has actually nothing to do with becoming the same as the people in the country.
I will also cover all these topics in my new workshops ‘Coaching for Sustainable Relations’ - they are always tailor-made to the audience.

In my experience helping people suffering from social anxiety, I noticed that for many people societal judgments caused or increased their feeling bad about themselves.
They were looking for outside approval (for some their feeling bad about themselves went back to childhood, when they were criticised by their family members or peers at school) and they got judgment from society for the way they were, their weaknesses or their insecurities. This caused them to feel even worse, to withdraw, to fall into depression, even with suicidal thoughts.
Now, the thing is: what we judge in another is always a disowned part of ourselves. It is our shadow, what we do not love about us. What we consider good and what we consider bad in the world, it is ALL within us. And until we welcome and love it all, we will not find peace, we will not become whole, we will not be who we truly are.
And furthermore, we need to become very aware that by criticizing another person, we are certainly not helping them feel good about themselves, as I mentioned above. What if by healing our judgments, we could indirectly help another person feel better about themselves, heal from their social anxiety or depression, would you heal yourself?
We also need to become waterproof to outside judgments, as what other people think is actually none is our business.
I will cover many of these topics in my new coaching workshops with exercises to help you work through many issues. For information, please visit the website or email me at info@pgcoaching.co.uk.

My paintings can aide your meditation.
I often meditate in front of my paintings and I find them very helpful. They are like ‘windows on the Infinite’, their energy is high and are very powerful.
The pictures for the prints will be improved very soon, and the prices of the prints are very affordable.

Everything in the Universe is energy and there are laws, one of them is that positive attracts positive and negative attracts negative.
Being positive does not mean putting up a happy face, it means letting go of the negativity which is stored in the subconscious and it comes up in the form of feelings.
When we let go of the negativity we naturally become more positive and attract more good things in our life and we can more easily direct our mind to what we want, rather then reacting or resisting what is.
My paintings are spiritual and can be of help to raise your vibrations and the vibrations of the room. On each of them there is also a quote that can help you shift your consciousness. They can also help you to release the subconscious resistance which is keeping in place the negativity. If placed in bigger venues, they can be of help to more people.
